Senator Stephen Jeff Wilson, who represents Washington state's 19th Legislative District, was charged with possessing a firearm without a license after he was caught carrying a revolver at Hong Kong International Airport. Wilson did not enter a plea at a court hearing at Shatin Magistrates' Courts on Monday. He was granted cash bail of HK$20,000 and directed to surrender his travel documents. There are reports that Wilson has no fixed residence in Hong Kong. As Wilson left the court, he got into an altercation with reporters who tried to take photos of him.
