More than three assailants are being searched by Hong Kong anti-triad police on Wednesday after their vehicle rammed into another car followed by a stabbing attack.
The incident occured around 8 am inTsim Sha Tsui, Chatham Road South near the junction of Chatham Court in Tsim Sha Tsui police said.
The report said the two male victims who are both 19- year-old boarded the taxi on Observatory Road to Sheung Shui. It was said by the source close to the case that the two teenagers were suspected members of a Sun Yee On triad gang.
It was added that as soon as the taxi turned into Chatham Road South from Observatory Road, a silver Toyota car rammed into its right side and intercepted their taxi.
“Three knife-wielding men jumped out from the car and attacked the two taxi passengers,” the insider said.
The three attackers then jumped to their car at zoomed off towards Hung Hom after the attack.
The source said one of the victims sustained multiple cut wounds to his body, but the 50-year-old taxi driver was unhurt.
The injured were rushed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei for the treatment.
A police investigation said that the attackers have been waiting for victims to leave the pub on Observatory Road and the attack was deliberated.
However, the police said no arrests have been made and the investigation on the cause of the incident is ongoing.

知情人稱，“三名持刀男子從車上跳下來，襲擊了兩名出租車乘客。”
襲擊發生後，三名攻擊者跳上汽車，朝紅磡方向駛去。
消息人士稱，其中一名受害者身上有多處割傷，但 50 歲的計程車司機沒有受傷。
傷者被送往油麻地伊利沙伯醫院救治。
警方調查稱，襲擊者一直在天文台道酒吧等待受害者離開，這次襲擊是經過深思熟慮的。
不過，警方表示尚未逮捕任何人，並且正在對事件原因進行調查。
