The Hong Kong Observatory reiterated about the coming cold weather as the temperature is going to be as low as 7°C in the next 2 days.
The report by HKO said“An intense winter monsoon and upper-air disturbances will affect Guangdong in the next couple of days. Temperatures will fall further and it will be very cold and windy with a few rain patches over the region".
The forecaster said the mercury is expected to plummet to 7°C in the urban areas on Tuesday while the New Territories would be as low as 5°C.
Afterwards, the temperature will slowly rise and it will still be rather cool in the latter part of the week.

More deaths were reported in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Washington, Kentucky, Wisconsin, New York, New Jersey and more.
