The Migrant Workers Office (MWO) has expressed grave concern over a disturbing video circulating among Filipinos in Hong Kong. The video reportedly shows a woman being forced to engage in sexual acts by three men who appear to be of South Asian descent.
While the reports suggest the victim may be a Filipina domestic worker, the MWO states that this has not been independently verified. Some sources indicate that all the individuals in the video, including the woman, are South Asian.
An MWO officer confirmed receiving a copy of the video from an anonymous sender. However, the video was immediately deleted when the officer inquired about how the sender obtained it.
Without knowing the source of the video or the identity of the victim, the MWO has reached out to the Assistance to Nationals Section of the Philippine Consulate to explore potential courses of action. However, they were informed that it would be difficult to involve the police without more details.

The Philippine Consulate has also reiterated its warning to Filipinos, reminding them that uploading or sharing such obscene or indecent content is a serious offence under Hong Kong's Control of Indecent and Obscene Articles Ordinance. Violators face up to 3 years in prison and a fine of up to HK$1 million.
The MWO is urging the victim, if she is a Filipina, to immediately seek assistance and support from the relevant authorities and community organizations. The priority is ensuring the victim's safety and well-being.
