Ten Individuals Injured in Three-Car Collision on Tuen Mun Road

Ten people have been hospitalized following a three-car pile-up that occurred on Tuen Mun Road in the early hours of Saturday morning. The incident involved a Citybus double-decker and two works vehicles. The collision took place at approximately 3 am when route N962 Citybus was en route from Causeway Bay to Lung Mun Oasis in Tuen Mun.

According to preliminary reports, it is believed that the bus failed to brake in time, resulting in it crashing into a works vehicle equipped with an arrow board. The impact of the collision then pushed the works vehicle into a street-cleaning vehicle that was being trailed by the works vehicle. The driver of the works vehicle was trapped in the driver's seat for a period of time but was eventually rescued by firefighters.

Among the injured parties are the female bus driver, seven passengers, and the drivers of the other two vehicles involved in the collision. They were promptly transported to Tuen Mun Hospital and Yan Chai Hospital for medical treatment. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the collision.
