In a recent incident, a 35-year-old man has been apprehended by the police on charges of raping a 19-year-old woman in a hotel located in Causeway Bay. Additionally, the suspect was found to be in possession of two e-cigarettes containing cannabidiol (CBD).
The authorities received a report on Tuesday regarding the sexual assault of a 19-year-old girl by a foreign individual inside a hotel room on Yee Wo Street. Following a preliminary investigation, the police arrested the 35-year-old suspect, charging him with rape and possession of a dangerous drug. Two e-cigarettes containing cannabidiol were also seized as evidence.
The arrested individual, identified as a Libyan male worker holding a Hong Kong ID card, had reportedly met the victim a few days prior during a social gathering, and they had grown close. On the day of the incident, they went to a five-star hotel on Yee Wo Street for another gathering, where the assault took place. The police report was subsequently filed by one of the victim's friends.
The suspect is currently in custody, and the Wan Chai district crime squad has taken over the investigation.

據悉，這名被捕男子是一名持有香港身份證的利比亞籍男性工人。他與受害者在事發前幾天的一次社交聚會上相識並建立了親密關係。事發當天，他們一同前往怡和街上的一家五星級酒店參加另一次聚會，而該女子在該場合遭到強姦。隨後，警方根據她的一位朋友的報案進行調查。
目前，嫌疑人被羈押在看守所，此案件由灣仔區刑事組負責調查。
