A 39-year-old man named Benjamin Huang Junlong in Singapore has been sentenced to 25 months in jail for paying a 15-year-old girl for sex and secretly filming her, as well as engaging in similar activities with other women.
Huang pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual penetration of a minor and two voyeurism charges, while eight additional charges were taken into consideration for his sentence.
He met the underage victim on a dating platform called Sugarbook, where she had indicated her age as 19. Huang offered her financial assistance and they had multiple sexual encounters, during which he secretly recorded them. He also engaged in similar activities with a 21-year-old woman he met in 2019 and a 25-year-old woman he met in late 2019 or early 2020.
The court deemed his offenses premeditated and noted the potential harm to the victims if the videos were leaked. Huang's actions were discovered when he was arrested on suspicion of engaging in commercial sex with a minor.
