June 29, 2024 - Authorities are actively seeking the next-of-kin of a young girl who was discovered alone in Mong Kok yesterday, raising suspicions of abandonment.
At around 7pm, the police received a report of a found girl at the Sai Yee Street Children's Playground. The child, estimated to be around 2 years old, stands about 80 cm tall, weighs 10 kg, and has a medium build. She has a round face, yellow complexion, and long black hair. She was found wearing a beige vest, light blue shorts, and pink sandals. No identification was found on her.
Fortunately, the girl appears uninjured and has been admitted to Kwong Wah Hospital for observation and care.
