Police arrested a Hong Kong doctor for allegedly sneaking into secondary school in girl's uniform

Buddhist Tai Hung College Cheung Sha Wan

A male doctor who reportedly sneaked into Buddhist Tai Hung College in Cheung Sha Wan at lunchtime in a girl's school uniform has been arrested on suspicion of loitering.

He was said to have been in the school for a couple of minutes before being noticed by one of the teaching staff at around 12.30 pm on Monday and then ran away, police said.

The school reported the incident to the police and officers showed up to search the school premises. The toilets, changing rooms and classrooms were not left out but nothing suspicious was found, police said on Tuesday.

After further investigation, police apprehended the perpetrator, a 36-year-old Hong Kong man in a Yuen Long, New Territory car park on Monday evening. Surprisingly, a wig, socks,  female school uniform, shoes, surgical mask and glasses were found in his car by the officers.

The man was also found with school uniforms from four different secondary schools in Hong Kong which are Fanling, Mong Kok and Kwai Tsing.

The police spokesperson said the motives behind the man's actions were still under investigation and would not reveal the suspect’s job title but a police source confirmed that he was a doctor.

一名男醫生據報於午餐時間穿著女校服潛入長沙灣佛教大雄書院，因涉嫌遊蕩被捕。

警方稱，據稱他在學校待了幾分鐘，然後在週一中午 12 點 30 分左右被一名教職人員發現，然後逃跑了。

學校向警方報告了這起事件，警方隨後到校搜查。 警方週二表示，廁所、更衣室和教室也沒有被排除，但沒有發現任何可疑之處。

經過進一步調查，警方週一晚間在新界元朗停車場逮捕了肇事者，一名36歲的香港男子。 令人驚訝的是，警方在他的車上發現了假髮、襪子、女制服、鞋子、手術口罩和眼鏡。

該男子還被發現持有香港四所不同中學（粉嶺、旺角和葵青）的製服。

警方發言人表示，該男子行為背後的動機仍在調查中，不會透露嫌疑人的職務，但警方消息人士證實他是醫生。
