MTR Corporation announced today the giving out of 71,000 single local rides and 26 annual tickets through a lucky draw on the 1st of July, 2023. This is to celebrate the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the establishment of the Hong Kong SAR, on the 1st of July. Moreover, all the passengers travelling by the light rail and MTR bus will enjoy free rides on that day.
Aside from the MTR lucky draws that are run to give users of its mobile app the chance to win 5000 different prizes every day, there would be also an extra lucky draw on July 1 that include rewards of more than HK$25 million for registered MTR mobile app users.
