On January 14, 2025, it was reported that Ronald Taylor, a 72-year-old man who had been missing, has been located safely. Taylor was last seen leaving his residence on Waterfront Road in Tung Chung on the afternoon of January 9. His family notified the police about his absence the following day.
Authorities confirmed on January 13 that Taylor was found unharmed at Sha Lo Wan in Lantau North. Thankfully, he did not sustain any injuries, and there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his disappearance.
