In a recent court ruling, a man has been sentenced to six months in jail for trespassing into a girls' school restroom while cross-dressing. The individual, identified as Cheung Chun-hong, 31, pleaded guilty to three counts of voyeurism.
According to the court proceedings, Cheung disguised himself as a female student by wearing the school uniform on the morning of October 16. He entered the school campus and concealed himself inside one of the stalls in the female toilets. It was alleged that he engaged in voyeuristic activities and non-consensual filming while inside.
Days later, Cheung was apprehended in San Po Kong, and during the investigation, law enforcement officers discovered 16 sets of girls' school uniforms, as well as various girls' clothing and make-up, which were suspected to belong to him. These items were found both at the search site and his residence in Tseung Kwan O.
During the sentencing, Principal Magistrate Ko Wai-hung stated that Cheung intentionally trespassed into the school premises with the purpose of engaging in voyeurism. Furthermore, the magistrate expressed concerns about the likelihood of Cheung re-offending. As a result, the punishment was intended not only to reflect society's condemnation of such actions but also to safeguard the privacy of minors.
