Starting today, Hong Kong is set to host its largest outdoor music and dance party yet at the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD). This three-day event is organized by the WKCD Authority in collaboration with HKT and promises a vibrant celebration of dance and music.
The party features an immersive art installation by the UK-based artistic team Squidsoup, located at the Harbourside Lawn East, serving as the backdrop for the themed event titled "Submerged Paradise."
Attendees can look forward to a diverse range of dance genres, including city pop, urban, jazz funk, hip hop, tap dance, Latin dance, contemporary ballet, and exciting street dance battles. Notably, Stanley Yau from the popular band Mirror will perform the dance track “Drunk in Love” on the opening night, followed by Fatboy from Error taking the stage on Saturday, November 2.
In addition to the main acts, guest artists will entertain the crowd with Cantopop classics and Broadway musical performances. Weekend afternoons will feature lively flash mob tricycle piano busking and various dance displays.
The art installation will illuminate the area starting at 6 PM on Friday and will remain open to the public until 11 PM throughout the event. The dance party is scheduled to begin at 8 PM each evening, running for three consecutive nights.
Admission to both the art installation and dance programs is free, allowing everyone to join in the festive atmosphere of music and dance.
香港最大戶外舞會今日啟動
今日，香港將在西九文化區舉辦有史以來最大的戶外音樂舞會。這個為期三天的活動由西九文化區管理局與HKT合作舉辦，承諾帶來一場充滿活力的舞蹈和音樂慶典。
活動的亮點是來自英國的藝術團隊Squidsoup所創作的沉浸式藝術裝置，設置於海濱草坪東，為主題活動“潛水樂園”提供背景。
參加者可以期待多樣的舞蹈類型，包括城市流行、都市、爵士放克、嘻哈、踢踏舞、拉丁舞、當代芭蕾，以及激動人心的街舞比賽。特別值得一提的是，人氣樂隊Mirror的邱士杰將在開幕夜演唱舞曲《醉在愛裡》，而Error樂隊的Fatboy則會於11月2日（星期六）登場。
除了主要表演者，特邀藝術家還會帶來廣東流行音樂經典和百老匯音樂表演。週末的下午，還會有熱鬧的快閃三輪車鋼琴街頭表演和各種舞蹈展示。
藝術裝置將於星期五下午6點點亮，並在整個活動期間開放至晚上11點。舞會每晚將於晚上8點開始，持續三個晚上。
