Taking place on March 25th and 26th, the event is expected to attract approximately 30 esteemed arts and cultural institutions from around the world, solidifying Hong Kong's status as a cosmopolitan center for arts and culture.

Coinciding with the vibrant Art Week and the renowned Art Basel Hong Kong, the summit will welcome around 1,000 delegates. It serves as the first major international cultural event of the season, showcasing Hong Kong's growing prominence in the global arts scene.

The summit will feature representatives from ten prestigious museums and cultural hubs worldwide, including the British Museum, France's National Museum of the Palaces of Versailles and Trianon, Tokyo National Museum, and the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha.

One of the primary goals of the summit is to foster discussions on the transformative power of arts hubs in shaping a city's social and economic fabric. Additionally, it will explore the implications of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain in the arts sector.

Attendees will have the opportunity to witness Hong Kong's recent cultural evolution, highlighted by the inauguration of the M+ museum and Hong Kong Palace Museum in West Kowloon. Furthermore, iconic institutions like Tai Kwun, Central Market, and the Hong Kong Museum of Art have experienced a revival, adding to the city's cultural vibrancy.

The International Cultural Summit in Hong Kong not only brings together renowned institutions and professionals from the global arts community but also showcases the city's commitment to fostering cultural exchange, innovation, and creative expression. By hosting such an esteemed event, Hong Kong solidifies its position as a global cultural nexus.
