Hong Kong police have issued two alerts to the general public to help find 15-year-old twin sisters who were reported missing after they left their residence in Cheung Sha Wan separately in an interval of one week.
Police said in their first alert that the first twin missing is known as Wing-ki who was last seen at her home, a flat on Un Chau Street in Cheung Sha Wan, at around midday on October 9, adding that she took along her Hong Kong identity card, mobile phone and some cash when she left home.
Police said that the other twin sister who is known as Wing-tan also left the family’s flat, but at 12.45 am last Wednesday, a week after her sister’s was nowhere to be found.
Wing-yan had a mobile phone but did not take any identification documents with her when she left home, police said.
Police released pictures of the missing teenagers Kong Wing-ki and Kong Wing-yan on Monday, with the message that anyone who knew of their whereabouts should contact officers from the Kowloon West regional missing persons unit.
According to the force, both sisters are 1.6m tall, weigh about 55kg, are thin and have long hair.
As of 5.30 pm on Monday, a police spokesman said officers were still searching for the two girls.

香港警方兩度向民眾發出警報，協助尋找失蹤的15歲雙胞胎姊妹，她們相隔一週分別離開長沙灣住所。
警方週一發出失蹤青少年江永基及江永恩的照片，並呼籲任何知道下落的人，請聯絡西九龍總區失蹤人口調查小組人員。
在一次上訴中，警方在第一次警報中表示，第一名失踪的雙胞胎名叫永琪，她最後一次出現是在她位於長沙灣元州街的一套公寓裡，時間是10 月9 日中午左右。
警方稱，她離家時攜帶了香港身分證、手機和一些現金。
在第二次尋找Wing-yan的警報中，警方表示，另一對名為Wing-tan的雙胞胎也離開了她家的公寓，但在上週三上午12點45分，也就是一周後，她的姐姐的公寓卻不見蹤影。
警方稱，詠恩有手機，但離家時沒有攜帶任何身分證件。
據強制稱，姊妹倆身高1.6m，體重約55kg，身材瘦削，留著長髮。
截至週一下午 5 點 30 分，警方發言人表示，警方仍在尋找兩名女孩。
警方表示，任何知情者請致電9020 6542、3661 8036或3661 8038與西九龍總區失蹤人口調查小組聯絡。
