Hong Kong police have arrested the 64-year-old driver of a minibus for allegedly causing an accident by hitting three different vehicles in less than 10 minutes leaving three people injured without any attempt to pull off his vehicle.
The man was arrested on Sunday afternoon after police found out that he was the driver of the minibus involved in three hit-and-runs in Yuen Long where three people were injured, police said.
Police arrested him on suspicion of dangerous driving, failure to pull off his vehicle after he caused an accident and failure to report an accident to the authorities.
Police said at first, the man's minibus hit another minibus at Au Tau Interchange at 12.27 pm, causing injury to a man and woman passengers aboard. Instead of pulling off after the incident, he continued to drive. And on getting to 9 Castle Peak Road in Yuen Long at 12.35 pm, he crashed another bus.
In the third incident, he dashed into a private car on Yuen Long On Ning Road at 12:36 pm and failed to stop as well.
Afterwards, police investigated and found the reckless driver with the minibus in a garage in Yuen Long.
Police said that the man passed the alcohol test, was arrested and has been detained pending the investigation.
The two injured passengers were sent to Pok Oi Hospital for treatment, the report said.

警方其後調查，元朗車庫內發現駕駛小巴的魯莽駕駛。
警方表示，該男子通過了酒精測試，已被逮捕並已被拘留等待調查。
報道稱，兩名受傷乘客被送往博愛醫院接受治療。
