A 29-year-old man has been arrested on his attempt to flee the city by Hong Kong police over sexual misconduct after alleged by six women, police said.
The arrest was in response by the Superintendent Cheung Ting-fung of the organised crime and triad to the alert of some circulating reports on various social media platforms about a man suspected of enticing young women to his residence to have sex with them between 2017 and present year, the report said.
In a press briefing, the police spokesperson said “Our investigation showed that some sex tapes were made without the victims’ consent, or that they were forced into doing so".
Police said that six women whose their age fall between 18 and 25 reported to them about the advantages taken on them by the suspect as of Saturday.
The police spokesperson added that the force believed the suspect had determined to run away after a television programme on the allegations that a “key opinion leader”, who had a fan base of 10,000 subscribers, had used his fame to take advantage of teenage girls.
Police said the suspect would be charged with rape, indecent assault, voyeurism and procuring an unlawful sexual act by threats or intimidation.
The suspect whose name did not mention was arrested at the Lok Ma Chau control point on his attemp to flee the city and has been detained in police custody.

警方稱，一名 29 歲男子因不當性行為而試圖逃離香港，遭到六名女性指控後被香港警方逮捕。
負責組織罪案及三合會的警司張廷鋒因注意到多個社交媒體平台上流傳的一些報道，稱一名男子涉嫌在2017 年至2018 年期間引誘年輕女性到其住所與其發生性關係，因此進行了逮捕。
警方發言人在記者會上表示，「我們的調查顯示，一些性愛錄影是在未經受害者同意的情況下製作的，或者是他們被迫這樣做的」。
警方表示，截至週六，六名年齡在 18 歲至 25 歲之間的女性向她們報告了嫌疑人對她們的利用。
警方發言人補充說，警方相信嫌疑人在電視節目播出後決定逃跑，該節目指控一名擁有 10,000 名粉絲的「關鍵意見領袖」利用自己的名聲剝削十幾歲的女孩。
警方表示，嫌疑人將被指控強姦、猥褻、偷窺以及透過威脅或恐嚇進行非法性行為。
這名未提及姓名的嫌疑人在試圖逃離該市時在落馬洲管制站被捕，目前已被警方拘留。
