A suspect was arrested on Friday night after leading officers on a 6km chase through Hong Kong road which ended on a police roadblock set-up
in a residential area of Ho Man Tin, resulting in two people being injured, including an officer.
According to the video footage that emerged on social media, the suspect's vehicle stuck as it tried to find a space through a line-up of cars before the roadblock on Princess Margaret Road during the chase. In the video, the suspect suddenly reversed, hit an officer pursuing him at the back and continued until dashing into a vehicle.
At that juncture, officers rushed to his vehicle and finally could be able to smash the windows of his car and struggled to open the driver-side door. He was then dragged to the ground and handcuffed.
The report said that officers found suspected illegal drugs in his vehicle.
The report added that an officer was hit by the car, sustained injuries to his abdomen and was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Yau Ma Tei, where he was listed as in stable condition.
Likewise, a woman driver from one of the vehicles rammed by the suspect’s car sustained an injury to her neck and was conveyed to the same hospital.
Police said the officers from the Kowloon City district crime squad are handling the case.

一名警員被車撞倒，腹部受傷，被送往油麻地伊利沙伯醫院，目前情況穩定。
同樣，其中一輛被嫌疑汽車撞毀的車輛中的一名女司機頸部受傷，被送往同一家醫院。
警方表示，案件由九龍城警區重案組人員接手處理。
