Hong Kong police are after the robbers who stole over HK$30 million worth of luxury watches in TST

Hong Kong police have reported the hunting of the gang involved in a smash-and-grab from a store in Tsim Sha Shui and took away more than HK$30 million (US$3.84 million) worth of luxury watches


According to the reports on Tuesday, a man who pretended as a buyer appeared at the Alpha Watch and Jewellery located at Granville Road at around 3.06 pm accompanied by another three.



It was reported that the robbers used knives as weapons to keep store employees aside to comply while one robber used a sledgehammer to break open the glass of the display shelves and finally escaped with about 30 luxury watches that were estimated to be more than HK$30 million.


The report said further that the four robbers later ran inside a getaway car suspiciously driven off by the last member of the gang. There were no weapons left at the crime scene, it was added.


The police said that the manhunt was still underway as of 5 pm and no arrests have been made so far.

香港警方報告稱,在尖沙水的一家商店中,抓獲了參與砸搶的犯罪團夥,並搶走了價值超過 3,000 萬港元(合 384 萬美元)的豪華手錶。


根據週二報道,一名冒充買家的男子於下午3時06分左右出現在位於加連威老道的Alpha Watch and Jewellery,同行的還有另外三人。



據報,劫匪以刀具為武器,驅使店內員工遵守規定,而一名劫匪則用大錘敲開陳列架玻璃,最後攜約30只估計逾3,000萬港元的名貴手錶逃走。。


報道進一步稱,四名劫匪後來跑進了一輛可疑的逃跑汽車,這輛車是該團夥最後一名成員開走的。 補充說,犯罪現場沒有留下任何武器。


警方表示,截至下午5點,搜捕行動仍在進行中,目前尚未逮捕任何人。
