Hong Kong parents were urged to be careful after child being followed by a stranger in park after school hours


The incident of a woman who allegedly following closely Hong Kong Kindergarten pupils at the park near the border with mainland China for a bad intentions has triggered the school to urge parents to keep a close eye on their children.


According to the report by SCMP news platform, the ELCHK Cheung Wah Kindergarten situated in Fanling said on Thursday it had issued a notice warning to all parents about a woman suspected of following a K1 pupil.


Some parents reported the woman “kept staring at and following one of the K1 children” while the pupil was playing in the park opposite Fanling Centre after school hours, the notice issued on Tuesday said.


“Luckily, the woman was spotted and stopped by a parent in time before she left quietly with another man a distance away,” the report said.


“Parents are worried about a kidnapping syndicate in the area. They are advised to be extra careful when picking up and dropping off their children, and never let them walk around alone.”


The kindergarten said it had nothing to add to the notice, which indicated the suspect was a Mandarin-speaking woman.



孩子放學後在公園被陌生人跟踪,香港家長應提高警惕


一名女子涉嫌惡意追蹤位於中國大陸邊境附近的香港幼兒園學生的事件引發學校敦促家長密切關注自己的孩子。


根據南華早報新聞平台報道,位於粉嶺的基督教香港信義會祥華幼兒園週四表示,已向所有家長發出通知,警告一名女子涉嫌尾隨K1學生。


週二發布的通知稱,一些家長報告稱,當一名 K1 孩子放學後在粉嶺中心對面的公園玩耍時,這名女子「一直盯著並跟踪一名 K1 孩子」。


報道稱:“幸運的是,這名女子被家長及時發現並攔住,然後她就和另一名男子悄悄離開了遠處。”


「家長們擔心該地區存在綁架集團。 建議他們接送孩子時要格外小心,不要讓孩子單獨走動。


幼兒園表示,通知中沒有任何內容,顯示嫌疑人是一名講普通話的女性。
