Hong Kong Ocean Park’s oldest dolphin dies at 40

Ocean Park, Hong Kong announced the death of its oldest male dolphin at the age of 40.

The park said the Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphin called "Molly" got weak on 31st of December, last year and eventually lost him on Thursday after relentless efforts and care from its medical team.

The attractive Park said, "Our dedicated team at Ocean Park is always committed to ensuring the welfare and providing specialist care for our ageing animal ambassadors".

“Molly, like our other dolphins, played a vital role as an ambassador at Ocean Park and resided in the Marine Mammal Breeding and Research Centre next to the Ocean Park Veterinary Centre,” it was added.

聲明補充說： “莫莉和我們的其他海豚一樣，在海洋公園扮演著重要的大使角色，居住在海洋公園獸醫中心旁的海洋哺乳動物繁殖及研究中心。”
