Hong Kong Observatory cancelled cold weather warning as mercury will rise gradually

Hong Kong Observatory said the temperatures will be up slightly in the following two days.

The HKO's next nine-day weather forecast read that the temperature could be up to 25°C on Tuesday and the temperatures for most of the days in the coming week could be up to around 20°C.

The Observatory added that a relatively humid southerly airstream will affect the city in the next few days.

“It will be misty with a few showers over the region, and temperatures will rise progressively.” it was reported.

The northeast monsoon is expected to reach Guangdong next Wednesday while the latter part of this week will be windier with temperatures dropping slightly over the coastal areas, HKO said.
