Hong Kong Disneyland's roller coaster went from thrill to a frightening emergency stop on Wednesday as 12 people were stuck at one stage, the report said.
An emergency call was made at 3:21 pm reporting that an indoor attraction named Hyperspace Mountain in Disneyland experienced an emergency stop, police said.
The report said that twelve people were stuck in the middle of the roller coaster but no injuries were reported.
It was revealed that two of the rollercoaster carriages had a problem and rescue teams were able to remove the riders safely while the mission was done at 4.14 pm, the report said.
The attraction would be temporarily closed from February 26 to March 1 for routine maintenance and inspection, it was announced.
