A 71-year-old, German passenger died fainted in the Cathay Pacific flight and died before taking off from Hong Kong to Mumbai
A German Cathay Pacific passenger lost his life after fainting on a flight to Mumbai, India from Hong Kong, just around its scheduled time, a report said.
According to the Hong Kong police, a call was received on Sunday from the airport that a man fainted on flight CX663 to Mumbai, just before it took off.
Emergency services arrived after the call, the man was taken down from the plane and conveyed to North Lantau Hospital.
Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead in the hospital and the autopsy would be carried out to figure out the cause of his death.
Eventually, the flight that was originally scheduled to depart from Hong Kong at 8.45 pm on Sunday was later rearranged to leave at 9.51 pm, on the same day, airport authorities reported.
