A woman in Shandong, China, attempted to deceive a hotpot restaurant by planting her own pubic hair in her food in order to obtain compensation. However, her fraudulent act was captured on a CCTV camera inside the establishment.
According to Chinese media reports, the incident occurred on January 5 when the woman, believed to be in her 20s, visited the restaurant with some friends. During the course of her meal, she discreetly looked around before reaching into her pants to pluck out her pubic hair. Hastily, she threw the hair into the soup. Disturbingly, CCTV footage released by the restaurant owner revealed that she even stirred the hair into the soup before continuing to eat with her friends.
Upon discovering the hair in her food, the woman demanded compensation from the restaurant, requesting that they pay her three times the cost of her meal. The exact price of her meal was not disclosed. However, the restaurant refused to meet her demands, and the woman ultimately paid for her meal before leaving shortly thereafter.
The woman's audacious actions did not end there. The following day, she contacted the restaurant claiming to feel unwell after dining there. In response, the restaurant owner requested a medical report, but the woman did not provide one, and her identity remained undisclosed.
As the video of her act began circulating online, the woman called the restaurant owner in tears, offering her apologies. Considering her young age, the restaurant owner decided not to pursue the matter further. Additionally, he disclosed that he disposed of the pot used by the woman on the same day.
It is worth noting that this incident serves as a reminder of a similar controversial incident in Taiwan, where a child defecated in the middle of a busy restaurant, sparking public outrage.
