The China Earthquake Networks Center has disclosed that the earthquake occurred precisely at 11:59 PM on Monday, with a focal depth of 10 kilometers. The epicenter of the earthquake is located in Liugou Township, approximately 8 kilometers away from the county seat of the Bonan-Dongxiang-Salar Autonomous County of Jishishan in Gansu Province.
The impact of the earthquake has been devastating, particularly in Gansu Province, where there has been a significant loss of life. As of Wednesday morning, the death toll in Gansu Province has tragically risen to 113 individuals.
