The Hong Kong Theatres Association has announced that Cinema Day will take place on April 21 this year, granting Hongkongers the opportunity to enjoy regular movie tickets for just HK$30. A total of 63 participating cinemas will be offering this special promotion.
When and Where to Purchase HK$30 Movie Tickets:
Starting from noon on April 17, tickets will be available for purchase both online and at theatre counters in all commercial theatres across Hong Kong. Leading cinema companies such as Broadway Circuit, Emperor Cinemas, MCL Circuit, Newport Circuit, Cinema City, and others will be participating in this event. Regardless of the movie type, including special formats like 4DX, IMAX, and CGS Laser, all tickets will be priced at a flat rate of HK$30. However, please note that special programs and private screenings are not included in this promotion.
Ticket Purchase Limits:
Individuals are limited to buying a maximum of four tickets per person when purchasing in-person. Online purchase limits are subject to the restrictions imposed by each cinema.
