In Sai Kung today, a sedan caught fire, causing traffic disruptions in the area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
Around 3 pm, thick black smoke and flames emerged from the sedan, located on Po Tung Road, accompanied by the sound of explosions. Firefighters swiftly responded to the scene and managed to extinguish the blaze. The vehicle was completely burned out, but thankfully, no individuals were harmed.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. As a result of the accident, all lanes of Po Tung Road and Man Nin Street were temporarily closed to traffic.
