Hong Kong - Late at night on November 24, a serious bus collision occurred in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. The incident involved KMB Route 961 and Citybus Route 969, both of which went to Central via Connaught Road Central.
It was reported that the two buses suddenly collided while traveling along Shun Tak Centre, causing serious damage to the front of the KMB bus. However, the Citybus continued on its trajectory and crashed into a nearby bus stop shelter. Initial reports indicate that seven people were injured in the accident, including the bus driver and passengers in both vehicles. Currently, relevant departments are investigating the cause of the accident.

A Citybus spokesperson confirmed that at about 12:05 am on November 24, one of the route 969 buses was traveling from Tin Shui Wai city center to Causeway Bay. When it stopped at the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, it was hit from behind by another bus. The collision pushed the Citybus into the bus stop shelter. The Citybus driver and at least two passengers suffered minor injuries and were sent to hospital for treatment. The front part of the Citybus and the bus station shelter were damaged. Citybus promised to fully cooperate with the police in investigating the accident.
