A 56-year-old Japanese man participated in the popular bungee jumping activity at the Macau Tower and suffered breathing difficulties and cardiac arrest after landing. Firefighters acted quickly and rushed the injured to the hospital for emergency treatment. He was later confirmed dead this evening.

The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m. when the fire department and police received a distress call from an injured person at the Macau Tower. Upon arrival, first responders found the victim without any visible trauma, but without breathing or heartbeat.
