Authorities are currently searching for a 49-year-old lawyer, surnamed Chow, who has been missing since September 18. Chow was last seen after having dinner with his wife, who reported him missing the following day.
Chow had informed his wife that he was heading back to his office after their meal in Wan Chai. The couple had met up in the evening after Chow had been at work in Central earlier that day. After parting ways at the MTR Admiralty Station, Chow mentioned he would take some items back to the office while his wife returned home.
Concern escalated when Chow’s wife received a WhatsApp message from him around 7 AM on September 19, after which all communication ceased. Worried for his well-being, she contacted the police for assistance, leading to the ongoing search for him.
