A young man's lifeless body was found in an empty field in Fanling Wai on Saturday. The victim, identified as 22-year-old Xu, had attended a drug party the previous night and is believed to have been injected with methamphetamine and then left behind. Xu, who was pursuing a master's degree in Hong Kong and lived in To Kwa Wan, had connected with a 51-year-old security guard named Kwan through the dating app "Grindr." Kwan and a 20-year-old student named Cheng, who had an intimate relationship, lived in the house where the party took place.
During the party, which may have involved sexual activities, Xu suspects that Kwan and another 62-year-old waiter named Cheng injected him with methamphetamine. Xu fell into a coma and tragically died. The group of five individuals then carried his body outside and callously abandoned it. The next day, local residents discovered an unconscious person who had already passed away. Due to suspicious elements at the crime scene and the absence of identification documents, the police initiated an extensive investigation. On the 24th, Xu's parents reported him missing after being unable to contact him, and the police confirmed the victim's identity, exposing the shocking case of accidental killing and body abandonment.
Reports indicate that Xu was a student at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The university stated that the incident is being investigated by the police, and they are currently unable to provide further comments.
